Wonser E. Tarwo

Board Member

Wonser E. Tarwo is Board Member. Her focus is promotion of the Foundation, its fundraising and outreach. She is a mother and sister to many. Born and raised in Liberia, West Africa. Wonser left Liberia during the civil war and migrated to the United States. She is devoted to helping the most vulnerable members of society and currently supports a blind young man and his sister in Liberia. In 2019, she hosted a mother and child who traveled to the United States through an organization for medical care. Wonser’s passion for helping people influenced her career in health care. Wonser brings her drive for helping women and children to the Matthew Tarwo Foundation to continue her father’s legacy of kindness.
