Nerwokay Edwina Tarwo

Founder & Chairwoman

Nerwokay Edwina Tarwo, Chairwoman. She directs the overall activities of the Foundation, setting strategies on how to implement and achieve the Foundation’s goals. She advocates on behalf of the foundation and oversees its fundraising operations. Edwina hails from the West African country of Liberia born unto the union of Matthew and Vonyee Tarwo. Her mother has no formal education, and her late father completed grade 8. Edwina is a mother of two and grandmother of four. She is currently a student at Cambridge College studying General Management and works as a Clinical Data Analyst. Edwina is member of various Liberian community organizations and the FUMC of Melrose, Massachusetts missions’ team. When she is free, she enjoys being in the company of families and friends the most and figure skating, tennis, gymnastics, hiking, music and dancing.
